TimeTube is a pretty interesting YouTube search tool.
It arranges the search results in a neat timeline where the thumbnail image sizes represent the popularity of the corresponding video on YouTube. And the various entry points indicate the day when a video was uploaded. As you can see, I did a search for The X-Files. Try it.
