F our years ago all systems were a go for an animated Buffy, the Vampire Slayer: The Animated Series. Why this series didn’t make it in the first place is a complete mystery. The woman who does Buffy’s voice in the video games was in as well as Alyson Hannigan, Anthony Stewart Head and Nicholas Brendon all voicing their characters from the live action series. Add to that the number of writers on board from Buffy including Jane Espenson.

Kind of a shame it never made it to production as it looks like it could have been fun. I doubt it’ll get resurrected now, but hey it’ll be cool if it does.
Now what I’d really like to see is some movement on Ripper but I’m not holding my breath on that one…
