JoCo and Felicia Day Sing “Still Alive”
At PAX 2008, nerdcore folksinger, Jonathan Coulton brought Felicia Day of The Guild and Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog up on stage to be the voice of GLaDOS on Still Alive. Very very cool! Wish I was there this weekend.
In case your coming to this sideways… here are some facts. Still Alive is a song written by Jonathan Coulton as the end song for the video game Portal. Portal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by Valve Corporation. It was released last year for XBox 360 and earlier this year for Windows. It’s very fun!! It’s developed a loyal cult following by gamers, and is now a song in Rockband. It’s short, smart, funny and (spoiler) at the end, there is cake!!

Would have been better if the audience would have shut the fuck up

I dunno. I enjoyed hearing the audience sing along. It was kind of creepy to think of a room full of folks who knew the words by heart, though

I enjoyed the sing-along too. I’ve heard the song many times, but I doubt I could sing it, especially with a few drinks in me at Midnight. More power to ‘em.
