Felicia Day Singing ‘Still Alive’ With Jonathan Coulton At PAX 2008

JoCo and Felicia Day Sing “Still Alive”

At PAX 2008, nerdcore folksinger, Jonathan Coulton brought Felicia Day of The Guild and Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog up on stage to be the voice of GLaDOS on Still Alive. Very very cool! Wish I was there this weekend.

In case your coming to this sideways… here are some facts. Still Alive is a song written by Jonathan Coulton as the end song for the video game Portal. Portal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by Valve Corporation. It was released last year for XBox 360 and earlier this year for Windows. It’s very fun!! It’s developed a loyal cult following by gamers, and is now a song in Rockband. It’s short, smart, funny and (spoiler) at the end, there is cake!!

  1. Would have been better if the audience would have shut the fuck up

  2. I dunno. I enjoyed hearing the audience sing along. It was kind of creepy to think of a room full of folks who knew the words by heart, though ;-)

  3. I enjoyed the sing-along too. I’ve heard the song many times, but I doubt I could sing it, especially with a few drinks in me at Midnight. More power to ‘em.
