Microsoft Picks Up The Guild For a Third Season!

Good news Guildies! Microsoft has just picked up the hilarious MMORPG-inspired online sitcom for another season. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the third season of Felicia Day’s multi-Streamy Award winning show will feature 12 episodes and is scheduled to begin production in June, with a sneak peek available at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

As part of the agreement with Microsoft, episodes will once again be made available on Xbox Live and Microsoft’s online video portal. But if that isn’t quite soon enough to satisfy your Guild lust, you could always just revisit the past two seasons over at the show’s site or on Xbox Live. In the meantime, The Guild fans can pre-order the season 2 DVD or VOD at Amazon in preparation for its May 19 release.
