Blast From The Past: Stan Lee, Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld Create ‘Overkill’ in 20 Mins.

Back in the 1990s Comic Book legend, Stan Lee had a straight to VHS series produced by his Excelsior Productions. It was called Comic Book Greats and showed a behind the scenes access of the comics industry, something much more mysterious before the Internets. Here, from the fourth episode in 1992, Stan talks to and creates a character called Overkill with Image Comics founders Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld.

    I’m pretty sure it may be an Urban Legend, like the existence of Lindsay Lohan; but yes, some say there was a time before the Internet. There are currently top men investigating this… TOP. MEN.

    …and just like that, a wooden crate containing Stan Lee just got permanently sealed and packed in Warehouse 13. 🙂
